FAQ

Straight answers on how Ground Built works.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Kansas City and Hamilton and work across Northwest Missouri — from the metro out through the rural northwest counties. If you're not sure whether you're in range, reach out and ask.

What's the difference between forestry mulching and land clearing?

Forestry mulching grinds brush and small trees into mulch in place, in a single pass, with low ground disturbance. Full land clearing removes everything — including stumps and larger trees — and leaves a clean, workable site. Many jobs use both.

Do you handle both small properties and large acreage?

Yes. We work residential lots, building sites, farms and large tracts. We match the equipment to the size and access of the property.

How do estimates work?

Tell us about the ground through the estimate form — location, what you're trying to accomplish, and photos or a survey if you have them. We'll follow up to talk through scope and next steps.

Can you work on wet, steep or hard-to-access ground?

Often, yes — it depends on conditions. Send photos and describe the access, and we'll tell you honestly what's workable and what isn't.

Are you insured?

Yes. Ground Built runs professional, insured crews on every job.
